I started this site to share my writing with anyone willing to read it. Science fiction and fantasy are my favorite genres, but I'll gladly venture anywhere creativity takes me.
Kan is actually a nickname of mine. It comes from the romaji spelling of my name before anglicization: Kanmuri. In Japanese, it means "crown." It's also the name of three mountains in Japan (one in Fukui and two in Hiroshima)!
My real name is Camry.
In addition to writing, I love music. I'm a self-taught pianist of seven years, and I bought my first ukulele last spring!
I'm currently studying Japanese independently, working toward my goal of one day visiting Japan.
My writing speaks for the rest of me!
