Alive

And I wasn't living my life.

I wasn't really sure I would survive.

Breathing the same old air

with collapsed lungs.

Collapsed in bed

til 4 pm.

Pulled myself up by my own hand.

I wasn't really living

but I made sure as hell

I stayed alive.
